Issue Warning Order: include draft timeline.

Make a Tentative Plan

Course of action development
COA comparison (advantages/disadvantages of each).
Select best COA, modify timeline to fit.

Start Necessary Movement

Reconnoiter

Confirm or deny tentative planning assumptions.
Map recon at a minimum.
Movement routes.
LC and beyond if possible.
Obey all movement restrictions.
Brief commander prior to execution.

Complete the Plan

Finalize scheme of maneuver.
Finalize fire support plan.
Verify/incorporate all other CS/CSS coordination.
Backbrief the commander.

Issue the Complete Order

Select the method.
Conduct confirmation brief.
Set rehearsal time.

Supervise

Conduct rehearsal.
PCCs and PCIs conducted to standard.
Execute.
Prepare to follow-on missions.
