Infantry Tactics for a Medical Unit

As a medical unit, we have certain special protections and restrictions under the Law of War. We're not supposed to be attacked while conducting our medical mission, nor are we allowed to attack others. However, mistakes happen, and some countries do not honor international law, so we must know how to protect ourselves without violating international law and Army policy. FM 8-10-24 gives important guidance about how an ASMB can maintain Geneva Conventions compliance.

This page is meant to give us, non-infantry types, some idea of how to defend ourselves when we are not allowed to use crew-served weapons, land mines, or the best defense - a good offense.
