called Marshall & Marsha. Watch for the mail to start rolling in soon. Get
home soon and well go for a boat ride. Call us collect no matter what time it
is. Middle of the night is ok.

Just wanted to let you know that everyone here is thinking of you and hope you and everyone return home soon and safe. Jaden is trying to say your name and she's getting better at it. We look at a picture of you everyday so she remembers who her Aunt Krystle is. Hope to hear from you very soon.
Love,
Casey, Jaden and

Hi Buddy,
Remember Joshua 1:9 - "be strong and courageous", I will if you will. How
grateful I am that those young men and women have you and the other faithful
members of your unit to help them through this time of trial in service to
their country. You ARE my HERO, You are my HEART. We will be here when you
get home and what a day that will be. Go with God and serve your brothers as
you always have. I love you so much, you make us all so proud. .

To all members of the 109th Medical Battalion Family Support Group in Iowa City, Iowa.
Wanted to acknowledge receipt of the thoughtful thank you greeting card you sent to me in recognition for allowing our soldiers time off since being stationed at Fort McCoy, WI. As CSM Randy Osweiler, MAJ Doug Olney, 1SG Jerry Westen and I have told all of you in the past, it is our distinct honor and priveledge to serve all of the soldiers assigned to HSC. As leaders of this organization it is our responsibility to look out for the safety, welfare and morale of our soldiers and families and providing time off to spend with our loved ones is near and dear to our hearts. We take this charge seriously and we do the most we can for our soldiers to reward them for their hard work and dedication for serving as volunteer citizen soldiers protecting our great nation. Thank you once again for all you are doing back home to keep the home fires burning. In many ways you are the one's that have the hardest job while we are deployed. Keep up the great work of supporting your soldier an d unit efforts. We greatly appreciate your continued thoughts and prayers. Take care and God Bless.
LTC Steve Wieneke
We are proud of what you and all other military men and women are doing for our Country. We wish the very best to all. Take care of one another. We're praying for your safe return. Bill and Patrick, I've never been more proud of anyone than I am of you two.
I Love You!!!
Debbie {Mom # 2}
We just want to express our love and gratitude, and to say how proud we are of each and every one of you in the Unit. There are two of you who are especially close to our hearts and that would be the Hendrickson brothers, (Bill And Pat). Continue to take care of one another as you have all been trained to do, and we will be there to greet you on your return to IA. City.
Good Luck

your return. As your best friend I am so very proud of you and admire

Jim Smith was a very young man when I was working for the 109th back in 1979. He was part of the Headquarters Det, 109th Med Bn at the time. Is he still in? I have not seen him for over 3 years now and have lost touch since we sold out our surplus store to our clerk who moved it to West Chester, Iowa. If he was mobilized with you, I would very much like to let him know how proud we are of him & that our prayers are with him as they are with every member of the 109th.
Thanks,
